hmm paper due in 4 days about my patron saint for confirmation. As my patron saint is yet to be found, I will be studiously searching every saint book we own, along with the Internet. I like St.Augustine of Hippo, but St.Catherine of Siena is also an interest of mine.   How did you all choose your saints and why?

  2. I agree with my sister. You'll just sorta know which saint is the right one for you. Mine are St. Catherine of Seina and St. Rose of Lima.
    Good luck!

  3. I am not a Catholic (Evengelical) and I'm a little confused about your patron saint question. Could somebody explain this to me?

    Thanks!

  4. I'll do my best. A patron saint is simply someone special you like to yourself or want to ask for guidance. Sometimes you'll feel close through something similar you share or through an example to follow. I did end up choosing St.Augustine for many reasons, one of them being his intelligence. My hope is that through his example I can build a closer realtionship with God. I hope I helped some :)
